Mike Taylor


Mike’s passion is helping students see the call of God on their life for the Gospel. Mike has been an innovator in Student Ministry for over 30 years. Throughout his ministry, he has used his spiritual gifts to preach and teach students through his personal mission statement: “We exist to Reach unbelieving and uncommitted students to Grow and deepen them in their faith and to Send them out to impact their world for Jesus Christ.” Mike’s ability to lead has given him the reputation as one of the top youth pastors in the country. He has served as President of the Metro Youth Pastors Association on two occasions and has been a featured speaker with the Song of Solomon conferences, youth camps, and various student events. Mike and his wife, Kookie currently live in the United Kingdom in Stockton-on-Tees. They have four children: Thad, Shelby, Hannah, and Hayden.

Tim Wye-Williams

Gap Year Coordinator

Tim has been with TVYFC since January 2014 and absolutely loves working with the team. He heads up the gap year program alongside of some admin duties. Tim recently set up an organisation called Equip which aims to resource and support youth workers in Teesside. He is also a youth pastor at The Vine Church where he attends with his wife Emma and their gorgeous daughter Eleanor. Tim loves working with young people, football and watching movies.

Audrey Gosnay


Audrey has lived in Teesside all her life and is passionate about the area. She joined TVYFC in September 2016 and is excited to be working alongside the team, carrying out Administration duties. She is married to Paul and their daughter Kirsty is in her 3rd year of the TVYFC programme Doulos. They attend St Barnabas Church in Middlesbrough where Audrey is involved in the children’s work and she enjoys gardening, camping and organising!

Jared Bredeson

Jared graduated from Liberty University with a degree in video broadcasting. After working as media director at a megachurch for two years, he felt God calling him to full-time mission work. After arriving in the UK in 2013 for a gap year, he quickly fell in love with Teesside and still hasn’t left. He loves everything nerdy and his biggest passion is to use media to spread the gospel around the world in a relevant way.

Jena Coulson

Church and Spiritual Life Coordinator

Jena attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and earned a BA in mass communications-journalism specialising in public relations. Upon graduation, she began serving in collegiate ministry at UMHB. After six years of bringing university students on short-term missions to Teesside, Jena joined TVYFC in 2015. Currently, she helps support churches, engages the Gap team in discipleship, heads the TVYFC mentor program, and aids in media projects. Jena enjoys learning, creativity, and finding the best questions in conversations. God has given her the mission to encourage, equip, and empower young adults to minister for a lifetime.

Cory and Meredith Butler have been married for almost 10 years now.  Cory has served local churches in Texas, Colorado and Alabama, as a youth minister for 20 years before moving to York, England.  Meredith was a middle school science teacher until becoming a stay at home mom. Their son Liam, is 6 years old.  Like most boys he loves playing football (soccer), building Legos and wrestling with his dad.  Noralee is the beautiful, and independent, baby of the family.  She will be 2 years old in February of 2017.
